Welcome to Saco Montana. Saco is located in Northeast Montana on U.S. Highway 2. The town has a population of 224, plus the surrounding agricultural community which helps support the business growth of the town. Saco has a nationally recognized public school system, several businesses including a grocery store and meat market famous for its jerky, hams, bacon and sausage, a hardware store, several churches and is within a half hour of a medical facility.

The Town of Saco owns several natural gas wells supplying economical natural gas to its residential and commercial customers. Montana’s natural resources of agriculture and natural gas drive our local economy. But it is our families and friends, with their strong traditional American values that make Saco the town we are so proud of.
